Thank you for choosing to be part of our community at Elfring Fonts Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have questions or concerns about this notice or our practices with regard to your personal information, please contact us at policy@elfring.com.

When you visit our website, elfring.com, and use our services, you trust us with your personal information. In this privacy notice we explain, as clearly as possible, what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. If there are any terms in this privacy notice that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our website and our services.

This privacy notice applies to all information collected through our website (such as elfring.com) and any related services, sales, marketing, or events (collectively, the "Services").

Contents

1. What information do we collect?

In short: We do not collect any data from visitors unless they use a contact form on the website or place an order. We only collect the minimum information needed to process your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges.

2. How do we use your information?

In short: We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of our contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations, and/or your consent.

We use the information we collect or receive to fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the Services, and to deliver the services you request.

3. Will your information be shared with anyone?

In short: We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

We may process or share your data based on the following legal bases: your consent; our legitimate business interests; performance of a contract with you; and our legal obligations. We may also disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or act regarding potential policy violations, suspected fraud, threats to the safety of any person, or illegal activity.

Vendors and service providers. We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us — for example payment processing, email delivery, and hosting — and who need access to that information to do that work. Unless described in this notice, we do not sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

Business transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.

4. What is our stance on third-party websites?

In short: We are not responsible for the safety of any information you share with third parties whose sites or services are linked to or from the Services.

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, online services, or applications that are not affiliated with us. We cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of data you provide to any third parties, and any data they collect is not covered by this privacy notice. You should review the policies of such third parties and contact them directly with any questions.

5. How long do we keep your information?

In short: We keep your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it, or, if that is not possible (for example because it is stored in backup archives), securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

6. How do we keep your information safe?

In short: We aim to protect your personal information through appropriate organizational and technical security measures.

We have implemented measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk.

7. Do we collect information from minors?

In short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to that minor's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users under 18 has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete it. If you become aware of any data we have collected from children under 18, please contact us at policy@elfring.com.

8. What are your privacy rights?

In short: In some regions, such as the European Economic Area, you have rights that give you greater access to and control over your personal information.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to and obtain a copy of your personal information, to request rectification or erasure, to restrict processing, and, where applicable, to data portability. You may also have the right to object to processing. To make a request, please use the contact details below. If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time. If you are resident in the European Economic Area and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you may complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

9. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature you can activate. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will describe our practice in a revised version of this notice.

10. Do California residents have specific privacy rights?

In short: Yes. If you are a California resident, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the "Shine the Light" law) permits California residents to request, once a year and free of charge, information about the categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please submit it in writing using the contact information below.

11. Do we make updates to this notice?

In short: Yes. We will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

The updated version will be indicated by an updated date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. We encourage you to review this notice frequently.
